Introducing the Antigua Racing Cup

I’m proud to share something new on our yachting calendar.

Building on the long-established brand of Antigua Sailing Week and our island’s proud maritime traditions, the Ministry of Tourism — in consultation with all key stakeholders — has made the decision to launch the Antigua Racing Cup as a bold new addition to our yachting season.

Dates: April 9–12, 2026

The timing is intentional — placed so teams can compete here and then head off to their summer events. Racers can expect finely tuned variations of the exhilarating courses they know from our spectacular southern coast. And spectators? You’ll still get those breathtaking views from land, sea, or air.

Onshore, English Harbour will be buzzing. Local vendors, artisans, bars, restaurants, and beach venues are all getting ready. Nightly events include live music, themed parties, and cultural celebrations that highlight the best of Antiguan hospitality.

The Ministry of Tourism owns the event and is working with Caribbean Sailing Events Inc to manage the regatta. Our goal is simple: an unforgettable week of racing in Antigua.
